Allow us to share a quick story (with a moral)

Our technical support office was recently contacted by a user of our products. He was seeking advice on what product to use on a limestone bank building with carbon buildup. The washer had two of our chemicals on his truck: OneRestore® and Heritage Restorer.

We have always viewed OneRestore® as the best overall product for cleaning limestone, but we are also well aware that there are some specific situations in which Heritage Restorer might be the better option.

Our technical support is here to help contractors, but we still always encourage cleaners using our products to both test and experiment. The contractors are on-site and can see things we can’t. Testing allows the cleaner to see exactly what will happen if they apply a specific product in a specific manner.

Experimenting with applications can lead to discoveries that can completely change your business. We have companies applying our chemicals with drones because they were willing to try something new. Their businesses are flourishing because of it. Their willingness to experiment with our chemistry is positioning them to become the future stars of our industry. 

Moral of the story: Our technical support is always here to help … but testing and experimenting are vital parts of cleaning and should be embraced, not feared or avoided.

High temperatures bring to the forefront one of the best features of one of our top products: Cleansol BC.

At use dilutions, it can safely dry on common surfaces without harm, and it rinses off without setting stains.

These before-and-after pictures are from a contractor working on a 50-truck fleet owned by TNT/Holland. The contractor did not have access to a water source at the dock facility where the fleet was located, so water had to be brought in by tanker.

Since he was using Cleansol BC, the contractor planned to only wash, not rinse, the trucks. He did, however, use a windshield sponge and squeegee on the windows and mirrors.

We were able to document the contractor’s success after about a half-dozen washes, and the before-and-after images in this post have been featured on our website and literature for twenty years. They are proof the product does what it claims to do.

Another story about allowing soap drying on the surface involves car dealerships near Detroit: A soap at the dealerships damaged the clear coat. When seasonal “love bug” swarms took place, the acid residue on their bodies when they died marred the clear coat.

As a way to prevent this damage, Cleansol BC at 50-1 was sprayed on and allowed to dry on the new cars, leaving an alkaline residue which prevented the damage. This practice was stopped when the clear coats improved.

We are not advocating allowing the soap to dry on the surface; we are letting you know another extraordinary benefit for ordinary use of our product that our competition simply can’t provide. This ability keeps you productive even in the extreme heat.

Not setting stains if it dries is a huge benefit in this heat whatever you are washing. This ability keeps you productive even in the worst case scenarios.
